Model Sandra Shehab Partners with Jewelry Label David Yurman to Unveil New Sculpted Cable Collection

This week, Sandra Shehab, the Egyptian-American model, utilized her social media platform to collaborate with the renowned US jewelry brand, David Yurman, to showcase the brand's latest Sculpted Cable collection.

In a brief video shared on her social media accounts, Shehab expressed her admiration for David Yurman's pieces, stating how they always enhance her style. The video features Shehab trying on various pieces from the Sculpted Cable collection, which is an innovative interpretation of the brand's iconic cable motif. This new rendition transforms the original twisted helix into intricately carved reliefs, adding a fresh dimension to the classic design.

The roots of David Yurman trace back to 1980 when it was founded by David and Sybil Yurman. The signature cable motif, which became synonymous with the brand, was born shortly after. David's craftsmanship saw him fashioning 50 feet of gold wire into the inaugural Cable design in 1982, adorned with pink tourmaline and emerald end caps. This distinctive motif became the hallmark of the brand, described by David himself as the unifying element across all their creations.

In her social media post, Shehab flaunts pieces from the Sculpted Cable collection, including a bangle embellished with hand-set pavé diamonds, alongside rings and earrings.

Rising to prominence in 2018 through her participation in Season 24 of "America's Next Top Model," Shehab garnered attention for her portrayal of Muslim women on the show, despite being eliminated in the eighth episode. She aimed to inspire Muslim girls by demonstrating that they can pursue their aspirations without limitations.

Since then, Shehab has become a familiar face at various fashion events worldwide, collaborating with numerous brands through her social media presence. Recently, she attended Lebanese designer Elie Saab's Fall/Winter ready-to-wear 2024-25 collection showcase at Paris Fashion Week, where she mingled with notable influencers like Olivia Palermo, Nathalie Fanj, and Tamara Kalinic.

Moreover, Shehab's connection to the world of jewelry runs deep, as her sister Amy is a fine jewelry designer who established her label, expanding into handbags and accessories.
