The Red Sea Film Festival Honors 'Women in Cinema' with International Celebrities in Attendance

Stars from around the globe gathered at the "Women in Cinema" celebration on Friday evening, a collaborative event hosted by the Red Sea Film Festival and Vanity Fair Europe. The event saw the presence of Bollywood star Katrina Kaif, along with Hollywood actresses Sofia Vergara, Sharon Stone, Diane Kruger, Michelle Rodriguez, and Zoe Saldana. British supermodel Naomi Campbell also graced the evening with her presence.

Representing the Arab world, a dazzling array of stars attended the event, including Yousra, Yasmine Sabri, Amina Khalil, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Andria Tayeh, Aseel Omran, and Sarah Taibah, among many others.

The festival, in collaboration with Vanity Fair Europe and coinciding with the third edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival, expressed their pleasure in hosting "Women in Cinema" to celebrate women's contributions to the cinematic world.

During the event, they honored Egyptian cinema icon Nabila Ebeid, recognizing her illustrious cinematic career.

Red Sea: Competition, Red Sea: Shorts Competition, Festival Favourites, Arab Spectacular, International Spectacular, New Saudi/New Cinema: Shorts, Red Sea: New Vision, Red Sea: Families and Children, Red Sea: Series, and Red Sea: Treasures are just a few of the eleven film categories that will be showcased at the Red Sea International Film Festival, which takes place from November 30 to December 9.

The festival's star-studded jury, presided over by director Baz Luhrmann, includes Swedish-American actor Joel Kinnaman, Indian actress Freida Pinto, Egyptian actor Amina Khalil, and Spanish actor Paz Vega.

The festival commenced with a gala screening of "HWJN," directed by Dubai-based Iraqi director Yasir Al-Yasiri.
