Saudi’s New Projects That Will Be Completed In The Next Five Years

Saudi Arabia has a reputation for introducing unique projects almost every month, particularly as part of the Vision 2030 plan. Many of these projects are already underway, and they promise to be big attractions and vacation destinations. Here are some of the new projects that will be completed in the next five years.

The Red Sea Project – 2023

The Red Sea Project may become publicly accessible this year as it is virtually finished. It is regarded as one of the most forward-thinking plans in the Kingdom and includes stunning private islands, natural scenery, and a large number of hotels.

Sindalah Island – 2024

Sindalah Island is another mega-project by NEOM, set to open in 2024. It will have over forty restaurants, three different hotels, its yacht club, and a large beach that covers around 840 thousand square meters of land.

King Salman Park – 2024

King Salman Park, a green utopia in Riyadh, is scheduled to open in 2024 and will include a variety of amenities for sporting events, picnics, museums, and even art galleries. It will host a National Theatre, a Royal Arts Complex, and a skydiving facility.

Oxagon – 2025

Oxagon is another iconic project by NEOM city, the first business centre of Neom, and it seeks to generate approximately 70 thousand employment by 2030. It will host around 90 thousand residents and will be the first city in the world to run on clean energy and zero carbon emissions. The city's first recognized hotel, The YOTEL, is scheduled to debut in 2025, according to a recent announcement.

Project Sama – 2025

The 183-meter luxury vessel Project Sama was created by the hotel chain Aman in conjunction with Cruise Saudi and is expected to be finished in the next two years. It offers a spa, a Japanese garden, and 50 suites with private balconies.

TROJENA – 2026

TROJENA is a snow utopia set to open in 2026. It will offer facilities for skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, and other winter sports, all year round.

AMAALA – 2027

AMAALA is a mega-project by Red Sea Global, located on Saudi Arabia's northwestern coast. It covers an area of 3,800 square kilometers and will have over three thousand hotel rooms. It serves as a centre for sustainable living, operations, and design. The project is already under construction, and it will open to the public in 2027.
