Princess Sara has been working determinedly all throughout her life to support the empowerment of women via programs and initiatives carried out in Alnahda. Her efforts have been brought to light with many awards such as The Chaillot Prize, The King Abdul Aziz Award in the First Degree, and more.

Mariam Saleh Bin Laden

You might know this name from her record breaking swimming games, but Dr. Mariam is also a humanitarian who devotes her time to help Syrian refugees. Her most prominent initiative was founded in 2016 where she inaugurated a dental center at a refugee camp in Jordan. That center provides all dental and oral acre for refugees, free of cost. Other than that, she is an advocate of human and women’s rights and is always vocal about social causes.

Dania Al-Maeena

Dania Al Maeena is the CEO of Al Oula, an NGO that enhances the lives of children of South Jeddah through the development of educational, professional and physical skills. She is passionate about creating positive impact within the community she lives in while utilizing innovative means to deliver these initiatives. With her NGO being female-led, her social causes are also centered in women empowerment and education. Al-Maeena has had an international background as she has earned her degrees from the University of London and George Mason University.

Princess Loulwa Al Faisal is an international award-winning personality, and a prominent advocate of women rights in the kingdom. Following through the her mother’s path, Queen Effat, Princess Loulwa had helped in founding Effat College in 1999. From developing the curriculum to hiring staff, Princess Loulwa has been at the heart of empowering women in the kingdom.
