Bella Hadid Takes Qatar And Here’s What She’s Been Up To

Bella Hadid is in Doha currently to visit a multiple of events including heritage, art, and culture focused initiatives.

She started her tour by visiting the new Palestinian exhibition called “Labour of Love” with her Palestinian-born father, Mohamed Hadid.

She went to Instagram to express her gratitude of being there and she mentioned, “This show brought tears to my eyes and even more pride for my beautiful Palestinian roots and people. I love you Qatar and I love you Palestine!”

“Labour of Love” is an exhibition currently showing in Doha that transports visitors to the original “fabric of Palestinian society” and educated them on the embroidery craftsmanship that has been practiced for decades.

The fashion-centered exhibition is meant to give guests a change at exploring what women’s work was like, especially into how it is “woven into the social, economic, and political fabric of society across different historical periods.” The exhibition is curated by Baha Jubeh and showcases various collection from Qatar Museums and Palestinian Museums.

Bella Hadid also attended Qatar Creates, which is a cultural event and platforms that runs all year around. Their aim is to push and nurture for art and culture in Qatar.

Bella attended the opening night of Qatar Creates, with an evening night tour of the Museum of Islamic Art. She posted a picture with supermodel Naomi Campbell while they toured the ground of the majestic venue.

For her most recent update, she headed to Fashion Trust Arabia Awards, which also included many A-list star such as Janet Jackson, Jasmine Tookes, Naomi Campbell, Jodie Turner-Smith, Halima Aden Poppy Delevingne, Olivia Culpo, Jourdan Dunn and more. Regional personalities included Karen Wazen, Dana Hourani, and more.

Bella wore a stunning navy blue piece by Alaia, the luxury fashion house by late Arab designer Azzedine Alaia.

Fashion Trust Arabia is actually the first organization to launch a prize in the Arab world to provide financial and business support to fashion designers in the MENA region. The FTA 2022 Awards Ceremony is held every year at the National Museum of Qatar, and is usually a star-studded events filled with various personalities from the fashion and entrepreneurship world.
