The Latest Chanel Beauty Ad Features Tara Emad

Tara Emad has created history by working with French luxury fashion label Chanel as its first Egyptian and Middle Eastern advertising face. Emad was selected by the fashion house, creator of the well-known brand "Chanel Beauty," to appear in its most recent advertising for cosmetics. She has been a long-time friend of the brand, regularly attending many of their shows and events.

"Grateful for this family @chanelofficial @chanel.beauty," said Emad when sharing the news on Instagram.

The actress is one of many internationally renowned performers who appear in the Arabic version of Suits. Emad is well-known for her prior performances in 122, The Blue Elephant 2, and Six Tape. She keeps busy at shoots, modeling for various publications, and attending fashion weeks when she isn't on set for a popular television show or film.

Emad was born in 1993 in Cairo, Egypt, to an Egyptian father and Montenegrin mother.

At the age of 4, she made her acting debut in a number of advertisements, which launched her career. She had her first photo shoot with the MENA magazine Layalina when she was just 14 years old, which also resulted in her debut runway performance. In 2010, Emad competed in Miss Teen Egypt and won the title. As a result, she competed in the Miss Global Teen pageant in Brazil that same year, where Emad was named the Teen Queen of Africa after finishing as the first runner-up. Following graduation from high school, Emad enrolled in the Business Administration program at the American University in Cairo while also participating in acting workshops with actor Ahmed Kamal and online with American organizations. She made her acting debut in Hani Khalifa's 2011 television series "El Gama'a" (University).

Tara has served as a brand ambassador for a number of well-known companies throughout her career, including Bvlgari, Michael Oro Jewelry, and she took part in a photoshoot for Yves Saint Laurent (YSL).

She also serves as the ambassador for Juhayna Nuts & Grains, Pepsico's new initiative “Recycle for Tomorrow,” and Chanel's first Middle Eastern “Friend of the House.”

Emad is involved with her own charity organization Help From Your Heart Foundation; she has been a part of the organization since 2013. The project distributes donations to families and children in orphanages in Cairo.
