10 Best-Dressed Stars At The 2022 BAFTAs

Our favourite celebs really kept the fashion coming at the 75th edition of the major awards ceremony.

Awards season is in full swing, and it was London's turn to host the stars this time. Britain’s biggest red-carpet event, the EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) returned in all its glory with an in-person show on Sunday. Taking place at the Royal Albert Hall, the beloved precursor to the Oscars was the star-studded spectacle we love to see while the year’s top film performances are honoured.

For the 75th annual event, which kicked off with a “James Bond” theme performance by Shirley Bassey to mark the franchise’s 60th anniversary, the nominees and presenters seriously turned up the glamour volume. Sumptuous velvet was a clear favourite on the big night while frothy tulle, taffeta and opera length evening gloves also made their mark. And due to attendees being advised to ‘dress respectably’ because of the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, black and other dark colours dominated. However, there were pops of colour, including yellow and blue, nods to the Ukrainian flag.
