Paris Hilton Says Yes!

Congratulations Paris!

Pop culture legend, entrepreneur, reality star the ultimate IT girl got married to her venture capitalist beau, Carter Reum at the home of her late grandfather, Barron Hilton in Bel Air.

When Paris spoke about how she met her now husband she gushed, “Carter and I have been friends for over 15 years. We stayed in each other’s lives over time, and we reconnected at a Thanksgiving get-together in 2019. From that night, I felt the spark, and the rest is history.”

Paris and Carter got engaged when he surprised her for her birthday with a vacation at a private island in February this year. As she explained the proposal she said, “That day, we had a photoshoot planned by the beach, and instead he proposed. It was so romantic! All of my closest family and friends surprised me, too, and flew out for the moment.”

We’ve all seen the stunning emerald cut diamond that Reum proposed with, and what made it that bit more special was the fact that he had it designed by the great grandson of Louis Cartier, Jean Dousset.

Of course, Paris Hilton’s bachelorette party had to be just as epic as we knew her lifestyle to be in the noughties, and it was reported that the celebrity couple held a joint bachelor and bachelorette party in Las Vegas. Hilton also was thrown an Alice In Wonderland themed bridal shower by her mother, Kathy Hilton, sister Nicky Hilton Rothschild and her bestie, Tina Chen Craig.

Not only was Paris busy planning her wedding, she was also working on a number of projects and enlisted the help of renowned wedding planner Mindy Weiss and her team to arrange every details from aesthetics to logistics. Paris said, “On top of wedding planning, I launched my new media company, 11:11 Media, this year and am in the process of filming and producing a TV show with Peacock called Paris in Love. Thankfully, my mom and groom had a lot of opinions on the planning, so I let them take the reins.”

Paris’ latest project, 11:11 Media is significant to the newly wed as she stated, “11:11 has always been my favorite time of day. It’s my reminder to make a wish and be open to miracles. This date is special to Carter and I—it represents our love story, which both of us knew was meant to be.”

Ok but what and who did she wear?
Paris Hilton wore four different dresses to be exact! As she walked down the aisle, she wore a custom Oscar de la Renta gown to the sound of Kim Petras singing, “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”

Talking about the all-important dress, Paris explained, “We spent months designing my dress to perfection with the amazing Oscar de la Renta designers, Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim. I love how it turned out. I wanted something that was timeless, elegant, chic, and iconic, and I am so happy.”

Keeping her hair and makeup sleek and simple, Hilton’s gown featured long sleeves covered in flower embroidery and after the nuptials, there were three reception looks – all of them were also white.

The second dress was an off-the-shoulder Ghalia Lav ballgown topped off with a diamond crown for the couple’s first dance, a long, crystal-covered style with a cape by Pamella Roland finally, a short dress to dance the night away in by Oscar de la Renta.

Paris’s bridesmaids, Tessa Hilton, Halle Reum, Brooke Brinson, Whitney Davis, and Farrah Aldjufrie all wore blush pink Alice + Olivia pink lace dresses, Nicky, also in Alice + Olivia, acted as the maid of honor.

“As a little girl, I always told myself that I would get married at my grandfather’s former estate,” said Paris, “I imagined having my fairy-tale wedding here, and it’s amazing that it actually came true. This estate brings back so many memories, and it means so much to be here surrounded by family and connected to all my loved ones on this day.”

She concluded, “I’m so proud of my love story with Carter, and even more excited that it’s just beginning.”

Congratulations Paris!
