Julia Roberts and Danny Moder
It’s always nice to see celebrities appreciate their fans, but sometimes there are some fans they love just a little more than the rest. And when you love someone that much, well, sometimes you just got to marry them before they go for the next hot-ticket celebrity on the block. Here is AboutHer’s list of six celebrities that decided to tie the knot with their biggest fans.
For his third marriage, Nicolas Cage married Alice Kim, a waitress at the Los Angeles restaurant Kabuki, in 2004. The two of them had one child together, who Cage named Kal-El after Superman’s Kryptonian name. They divorced in 2016.
Damon met Luciana Bozan while he was filming the comedy Stuck On You (2003) and she was such a fan of his work that the two became stuck on each other. They later married in 2005 at a private ceremony at New York’s Manhattan Marriage Bureau. They not only had three kids, but also a step-kid from Luciana’s previous marriage.
Kelsey’s fourth marriage was to Kayte Walsh, a young British flight attendant, in 2011. This came as a controversial move as Walsh was already pregnant with his child in 2010 and Kelsey’s divorce with his previous wife of Playboy model Camille Donatacci was filed only two weeks before the marriage ceremony. Though Kayte miscarried her first pregnancy with Kelsey, the two of them went on to have a daughter and two sons.
Elvis met the 14-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu in Germany in the late 1950s when he joined the army. Seven years later, the king of rock married his fan at a brief ceremony the Las Vegas Aladdin Hotel in 1967. He would later divorce her in 1972 for Linda Thompson, a songwriter and Memphis beauty queen. Their marriage didn’t last much longer either.
Roberts met Danny Moder in 2000 while working on The Mexican. They later married in 2004 at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico. Their wedding was actually a surprise for their 60 guests who came under the pretense that the event was to be an Independence Day party. Surprise!
Actress, model and Sandler-fan Jacqueline Titone not only married Adam in 2003, but actually made a commitment to converting to Judaism for him. Jackie previously had a small role in the Sandler film Big Daddy (1999), playing a waitress for one scene. They have two daughters named Sadie and Sunny that were born in 2006 and 2008.
