This Egg Tacos Recipe Will Help You Smash That Workout

Love tacos but want a change of pace? These Egg Tacos are high protein, low cal, filling, delicious and made in under 15 minutes. They also prove the Mexican favourite isn’t only meant for dinner.

The recipe is from SO Simple Founder Rachael Sacerdoti, who believes it’s the perfectly balanced meal because it contains all the food groups. It’s one of the tasty, easy-to-make recipes the Iraqi fitness coach shares with participants of her popular 12-week fitness programme, which focuses on calorie control and protein intake while featuring online exercises.

Sacerdoti believes packing our meals with protein is a critical part of regenerating and building strong muscles, and it can be found here via the eggs and cheese, which also contain the necessary fats we need to fuel our bodies. With the wrap acting as the main carb and the vegetables loaded with fibres and vitamins, it’s the perfectly rounded meal for busy women who have made their workout routine a priority.


  • Multigrain tortilla wrap
  • Eggs
  • Veggies of choice
  • High protein cheese


  1. Use spray oil in frying pan.
  2. Lay wrap in a pan so that edges fold up on the sides.
  3. Crack eggs onto wrap.
  4. Add veggies of your choice.
  5. Sprinkle cheese on the top.
  6. Put in pre-heated over (180°C) for 10 minutes.
