Brought together by the love of perfect craftsmanship and refined details, this season, two Dubai-based, female-owned brands, HALM and Kristina Fidelskaya, have collaborated on four exclusive bags. The collaboration comes as part of the Autumn-Winter 2020 “Dream” collection, set to launch in September 2020 and was conceived as a meeting of minds between the founders of each label, Hanna Ransjö and Kristina Fidelskaya.
Speaking about the forthcoming launch, HALM founder, Hanna Ransjö stated, “Our collaboration is an organic relationship that came about between two emerging brands. Our shared ethos and appreciation for curating classic pieces that can be handed down between generations, saw us come together to create a collection of handbags that embody both the HALM and Kristina Fidelskaya woman.”
The bags are limited edition and in true HALM style, are a modern take on future classics; the bag collection is bold and is composed of unusual forms, unique elements, and in the brand’s neutral shades Lin, Ebony and Kanel (Cinnamon in Swedish).
Part of the Kristina Fidelskaya Autumn/Winter 2020 collection and an exclusive addition to HALM’s seasonless collection, the “Dream” backpack is a demure yet playful approach to the sport luxe aesthetic and is equally elegant paired with a more sophisticated ensemble. The soft shape is designed for the comfort of everyday use, to showcase true versatility, which includes a removable mobile & card holder.
Inspired by an antique binocular case and safari expeditions. The “Bino” handbag perfectly complements Fidelskaya’s upcoming Autumn Winter 2020 collection. Made from HALM’s signature bull leather with a hard finish, it has a vintage feel with modern sensibilities. Fidelskaya says, “The collaboration is a reflection of modern femininity,” she begins, “we want to create contemporary pieces, that conform to diverse styles & can we worn with easy, timeless accessories that have a story to tell. Such as ourselves, HALM is young brand, with a real appreciation for high quality leatherwork - it was the perfect match. We share a same philosophy, and have a mutual understanding of the feminine ideals, interpreted into our pieces.”
You’ve got to be quick to nab one of these bags as they are being produced in limited quantities. As both brands fall in line with sustainability, they focus on waste prevention to encourage the redesign of resource life cycles of all retail products. The bags will be exclusively available at HALM in Dubai Design District, halmonline.com, as well as at Kristina Fidelskaya stores at The Dubai Mall & Mall of the Emirates, & online at kristinafidelskaya.com
