I’m in love with Tibetan culture generally, but their traditional clothes and hairstyles left me dazzled. They’re just so rich, and the amount of detail in the embroidery and hair is reflective of their beautiful mountainous environment. I had to find something to take home with me because I appreciate the culture so much. It was incredible to see firsthand how the Tibetans take care of their traditions to ensure they don’t get lost. To bring a piece of this history home with me meant so much, and it is a constant reminder to me of this beautiful place and its people.

After a blustery, snowy night up at high camp at an altitude of 5242 meters, the mountain finally revealed its beauty, but the upper reaches were cloaked in spindrift, lenticular clouds, and all the signs of high wind. It was decided to have a rest day. Tomorrow looks more promising, I'm hoping Denali will give us a shot. So much of mountain climbing is a test of patience, a waiting game, you could do everything right and not get a weather window. The team's strength and the weather will greatly shape the decision to make a summit attempt, It took us a lot to get here we had to contend with our heavy loads through a tough vertical landscape and negotiating between rocks and the long delicate edge that is dangerously exposed, the motivation behind all this is a shot at finally finishing the seven. #sevensummits #alaska #denali #climbing #everest #ineedashower
