Tommy Hilfiger Celebrates 35 Years In Fashion With An Iconic Spring Collection

The spring 2020 “Icons” collection features more relaxed tailoring and is designed for fashion-forward fans of the brand…

Tommy Hilfiger turns 35 this year and to celebrate the important milestone the brand has tapped top models Winnie Harlow, Candice Swanepoel and Hannah Ferguson to front its spring 2020 campaign. While the three beauties have unique attributes, they seem to have one thing in common while promoting the Icons collection: looking driven, impassioned and positive.  The famous fashion photographer and videographer Oliver Hadlee Pearch captured the empowered images, which encourage customers to “confidently embrace their individual style by dressing with a Tommy-twist, using fashion to express themselves.”

For this season, Hilfiger has returned to the label’s nautical roots. The American designer, who founded his incredibly popular eponymous label in 1985, is known for his longstanding love of sailing. However, this time his timeless staples have been given a playful, high-fashion twist. Yet while Icons is indeed young at heart with adventurous styling, it remains true to the brand’s time-honored DNA.

With details like the returning Icons flag graphic, Breton stripes and crested buttons, the high-quality wearable classics are a safe bet when it comes to ensuring a sophisticated statement. Hilfiger’s signature red, white and blue colour palette adds a patriotic vibe to the collection that includes tailored coats and denim pieces. But for spring 2020, the colours have been reimagined in bold colour-blocking. Additionally, accessories like bucket hats, newspaper boy caps and hefty trainers top off the looks perfectly.

The collection is available online at tommy.com. Click through to see our favourite looks:
