We're still fangirling!

As another of Winter at Tantora makes headlines for its larger-than-life lineup, one star stood out in particular this month, serenading fans of all ages from Saudi Arabia and beyond. World renowned Spanish-Filipino singer Enrique Iglesias gave his first concert in the Kingdom, taking center stage in Al-Ula as part of the Winter at Tantora festival.

The event organized annually by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) won over a huge audience as the singer sang his most famous songs such as “I’m A Freak,” “Bailamos,” “El Baño,” “Heartbeat,” “Takin’ Back My Love,” and “Escape.” The outstanding performance happened at the Maraya Concert Hall, a 500-seat capacity hall with a jaw-dropping design that binds geology, music, and modern architecture into one magical space. Iglesias’ performance was undoubtedly heightened by the hall’s completely mirrored facade that reflects mountains, cliffs, and an overall sandy color palette of Al-Ula.
