Since Anna Wintour, who was hosting this year with Gisele Bündchen, Tom Brady, Katy Perry and Pharrell Williams, became chairman, the Met Gala’s prominence has undoubtedly skyrocketed. This year, the biggest names in Hollywood, as well as other prominent power players, paid around  $30,000 to attend the opening of the Costume Institute’s exhibition, ‘Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between.’
