How Celebrities Born In April Have a Connection via Fashion

With April coming to a close, we take a look at the many celebrities born this month and their cosmic connection with fashion.

This month was jam-packed with celebrity birthdays, but what’s really interesting is the apparent cosmic connection between April-born stars and fashion. So many celebrities who recently blew out their candles are involved in the fashion world, whether it’s through modelling or designing, or even both. Plus, of course there’s the extremely obvious fact they’re all so wonderfully gorgeous.

Kristen Stewart, April 9
The ever-broody looking Kristen Stewart made it big for playing Isabella Swan in “The Twilight” series. The American actress and model is seen as something of a red carpet rebel and is known for her grungy style. However, Stewart, who turned 27 this year, is a long-time Chanel brand ambassador and her many transformations for the French house show she is not afraid of change.

Alessandra Ambrosio, April 11
Turning 36 this year is the Brazilian Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio, who was the first spokesmodel for the company's PINK line. The leggy actress and cover girl, who is always lauded for her trendy hippie styles during Coachella, which she has been attending for years, also has her own clothing line, Ale by Alessandra. She was actually spotted at Coachella wearing a dress from her label, which boasts swimwear and hats.

Emma Watson, April 15
Brown University graduate Emma Watson has undoubtedly blossomed since playing Hermione in the “Harry Potter” film franchise. The high-profile Beauty and the Beast actress is often on the red carpet, plus being a Burberry model in 2009 and 2010 catapulted her into the fashion world even further. British Watson, 27, is also a UN Goodwill Women Goodwill Ambassador and strongly advocates women's rights and equality.

Victoria Beckham, April 17
After the all-female pop group Spice Girls disbanded, British Victoria Beckham found her true calling and started her eponymous clothing line in 2008. It has made her an internationally recognised style icon and fashion designer. She recently collaborated with Target to design a very affordable collection, which channels her Victoria Beckham diffusion line. Beckham, who turned 43, recently received an OBE from the Queen for her services to fashion and charity.

Kourtney Kardashian, April 18
Being part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan means Kourtney Kardashian is constantly in the limelight, with all eyes on her fashion choices. As well as being an American reality television star, she is a model and has collaborated with sisters Kim and Khloé. They have come up with several clothing collections and fragrances, as well as working with US brand bebe. The socialite was spotted celebrating her 38th birthday with a luxury Mexican holiday.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, April 18
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s varied modelling career has included being a Victoria’s Secrets Angel, posing for mega brands like Ralph Lauren and Burberry and gracing numerous magazine covers. It’s no wonder the statuesque blonde, who has dabbled in acting, was named Elle’s Model of the Year in 2009. She has also received their Top Style Icon Award. Huntington-Whiteley, who celebrated her 30th birthday with a baby bump, is also responsible for one of Marks & Spencer’s best-selling brands, the Rosie for Autograph range, which includes lingerie, beauty, sportswear and swimwear.

Miranda Kerr, April 20
Sydney-born Miranda Kerr, who became 34 this time around, rose to fame as a Victoria's Secret favourite and has stayed in the limelight through high profile fashion work. As well as appearing on international editions of magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, she has been in ad campaigns for brands like 7 For All Mankind, Givenchy and Swarovski, designing a jewellery line for the latter. She also created a 12-piece capsule collection of jeans with US brand MOTHER for charity.

Catwalk star Gigi Hadid, who recently posted a picture of the cake boyfriend Zayn Malik treated her to on her 22nd birthday, was even modelling at just two years old. And now there’s nothing that can stop the half-Palestinian beauty. She has walked for illustrious brands like Elie Saab, Chanel, Fendi and Balmain, as well as appearing on countless magazine covers. In 2016, she became global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger and co-designed a capsule collection for them, earning her The Daily Front Row's Best Design Debut Award. She has started 2017 with a bang, starring in big spring/summer campaigns, some with her sister, and opening some of the biggest shows during the fashion weeks.
