AboutHer.com Pays Tribute to Crown Prince in New York’s Times Square

As Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman continued his official cross-country visit of the United States, where he has over the last few weeks been engaged in investment agreements and signing deals that will greatly impact the Kingdom, AboutHer.com prepared a grand tribute for him at his latest stop.

Today, as the Crown Prince met with industry leaders in the United States, AboutHer.com showed its support for his continued efforts in driving Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation and increased modernization. New York’s iconic Time Square was lit in green as a giant jumbotron displayed the Saudi flag, an image of the Crown Prince, and a caption that read “Champion of Change,” a message from the portal dedicated to his notable accomplishments.

Less than year in his role as Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Bin Salman remains steadfast on the road towards reforming the Kingdomeconomically and socially, as well as bringing back the more tolerant Islam of its past. On the ground, the 32-year-old Prince continues to enjoy the strong support of Saudis who have welcomed his ambitious plans under Vision 2030, the Kingdom’s national strategy to diversify its oil-dependent economy.

Today, Saudis, particularly women, are enjoying the loosening of past restrictions. From rescinding the ban on female motorists that was put in place in 1990, to lessening the power of the religious police, to appointing women to key leadership positions, the improvement of women’s rights and increased female participation in all facets of Saudi life has been placed at the forefront of the Crown Prince’s reformation efforts.

With a reputation of being a leader who takes bold and decisive action, the Crown Prince has also been working diligently on a number of key objectives. Under his guidance, Saudi Arabia is aiming to boostits technology sector, change its education curriculum, increase women's participation in the workforce, increase non-oil revenue to $160 billion by 2020, and invest in other key sectors as well such as tourism, culture, arts, and entertainment, which will create much-needed jobs for the country’s youth.
