Sayidaty Mall Launches in Style with Grand Gala Dinner

Sayidaty Mall, helmed by Sayidaty magazine, pulled in a full house to celebrate the launch of its E-commerce site on Wednesday, February 15.

Hosted by Presenter Habiba ElSaadany, the gala event packed the St. Regis Hotel with a slew of celebrities, designers, models, and a bevy of industry insiders. Attendees were serenaded by classic favourites as the model contingent put on a fashion show that oozed Hollywood glamour. Exclusive designer collections available on the E-commerce platform were on display in recognition of the site’s range of luxury brands.

Man of the hour, Mohammad Al-Harthi, Editor-in-Chief of Sayidaty and Al-Jamila magazines, and said: “Just like a magazine, the platform’s unique, content-driven concept offers fashion, beauty and jewellery editorials to help users not only find their style, but to shop it, too.”

The site joins forces with iconic sister publications Sayidaty and Al Jamila, automatically unlocking a collective monthly reach of 6 million unique visitors -- of which 2.6 are from the GCC. “This provides brands with tremendous exposure, while giving visitors an enhanced, more informative shopping experience,” Al-Harthi adds, “consumers can now shop directly from exclusive photo shoots and benefit from style tips and product recommendations that appear on the publications’ websites.”

Initially launched in 2015 as a shopping directory, Sayidaty Mall has transitioned into what is now known as the GCC’s hub for luxury brands, making it the first Arabic publication to launch a complimentary E-commerce site. The online retail platform prides itself with high-end global labels, world-exclusive designer lines and avant-garde collections, all tailored exclusively for women of the GCC.
