Missoni is delighted to present model Irina Shaykh, as the face of their latest Spring Summer 2024 advertising campaign. The backdrop which sets the stage for the SS24 advertising campaign, captured by Drew Vickers, is a place where light and brightness make this imaginary world come alive enhancing values like spontaneity and positivity.
Irina Shayk is the charismatic protagonist of the shots, surrounded by mirrors which showcase the colorful looks from infinite combinations like a kaleidoscope and highlight the sophisticated details of the garments. Her image is repetitively reflected, creating a kaleidoscope effect which aims to encourage the audience to enjoy reality. The combinations are therefore infinite and so are the Missoni ways to enjoy this reality. The light is intriguing and the blank empty space acts as a magic box to enter in to experience joy and happiness embodying the elsewhere.
The leitmotif of the SS24 fashion show now interweaves through the visuals of the campaign. The themes and textures pay homage to tradition while expressing a new avant-garde; an effortless sophistication adorns the tulle garments and the broderie anglaise details, exploring the joys of matter, shape and color.
