Designer Michael Cinco's Dazzling Spain-Inspired Collection Unveiled

Famous fashion designer Michael Cinco presented his newest collection in Dubai, featuring a range that pays homage to the culture and heritage of Spain. The collection radiated the energy of Spanish culture, featuring elements like capes, finely embroidered textiles, and enormous epaulettes set with glittering jewels. It also included fiery red-and-black blazers with a matador-inspired twist, as well as short playsuits, skirts, and corsets, demonstrating how adaptable the designs are. The Dubai Fashion Week show concluded with Moroccan Spanish model Sarah Loinaz, who expressed her gratitude to the designer on Instagram.

In 2022, Michael Cinco ventured into the international fashion market by unveiling his first-ever ready-to-wear line in New York. In an earlier interview with Arab News, he explained his motivation behind this move, stating, "I felt it was the right time to create a collection that was more accessible for the fashion market, and New York was the perfect place for it."

Although based in Dubai, this Filipino designer is known for dressing prominent international celebrities, such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The Bollywood star holds a special place on his list of favorite celebrities to dress. Notably, his stunning powder-blue princess-style gown worn by Aishwarya at the Cannes Film Festival in 2017 had a profound impact on his career, attracting a significant number of clients from India and Europe.

When asked about his dream celebrity clients, Michael Cinco expressed his admiration for Audrey Hepburn, despite her passing, and shared his current desire to dress Cate Blanchett and Angelina Jolie.

Offering advice to emerging designers in the region, Cinco emphasized the importance of hard work and the understanding that the fashion industry, despite its glamour, can be unforgiving. He encouraged young designers to be passionate, resilient, and business-savvy, focusing on creating collections and designs that are not only creative but also commercially viable.
