Lebanese-British human rights advocate Amal Clooney and her husband, American actor George Clooney, captivated their admirers during their recent visit to Venice. The couple journeyed to the city to participate in the 14th annual DVF Awards.

Established by renowned designer Diane von Furstenberg, the DVF Awards commemorate the achievements of women who have committed themselves to improving the lives of other women. This year, Amal was bestowed with the DVF Leadership Award, recognizing her remarkable dedication to the cause.

For the awards ceremony, Amal wore a graceful blush lace dress, embellished with a delicate tulle overskirt, courtesy of Christian Dior. The dress was an exquisite piece from John Galliano's Fall 2000 collection for Dior. A matching purse, a pair of chic pearl drop earrings, and gold heels completed her look and accentuated her remarkable looks.

In a show of unwavering support for his wife, George was impeccably attired in a black suit paired with a navy blue button-down shirt.

The DVF Awards' press release lauded Amal's exceptional legal career, highlighting her representation of high-profile political detainees and survivors of mass atrocities worldwide, including Yazidi women enslaved by Daesh, victims of attacks in Darfur by Sudanese militia and government forces, and imprisoned female activists. The release further emphasized her unparalleled success in securing the freedom of unjustly detained journalists across the globe.

Amal was honored alongside distinguished figures such as UN Deputy Secretary- General Amina J. Mohammed, comedian and author Lilly Singh, coder and AI expert Dr. Joy Buolamwini, and environmental and human rights activist Helena Gualinga.

The red carpet also showcased the work of Lebanese celebrity couturier Zuhair Murad. During the opening ceremony, Italian model Paola Turani caught everyone's attention with a tight white halter dress from Murad's Resort 2024 collection.
