Al-Wedad Charity Foundation aims to raise awareness about parentless children and provides temporary care before placing them with qualified Saudi families. The foundation received this responsibility through an agreement with the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
Hussein Bahri, the chairman of the foundation's board of directors, expressed his pride in these accomplishments, attributing them to the substantial funding that the Kingdom's nonprofit sector receives from the government. The Al-Wedad Charity Foundation has established requirements for becoming a foster family, including determining the social, economic, and psychological suitability of potential caregivers through safety, health, and security inspections. The foster family must be of Saudi descent, and the wife must be able to nurse if necessary and be at least 25 years old.
The G2T Global Awards, established in 2016, aim to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of prominent Arab companies and institutions across various essential sectors. They also strive to enhance Arab partnerships by fostering communication among business executives.
