You probably often wonder how some women always look so fresh, so put together and so polished even after a hideously long and stressful day at work, or after the gym. Well, we did some digging and discovered the 5 simple things they do to always look their best. You can thank us later.

1. Plan Ahead

Deciding what to wear in the morning can be challenging at the best of times, and the rush to put yourself together means you forget things, or leave home not feeling your best. The only way to avoid that is to pack your purse and put together an outfit you'll look forward to wearing – the night before.

2. Always Eat Breakfast

Eating breakfast in the morning can gear you up for a more focused and productive day. Waking up a few minutes early to compose your thoughts and eat a balanced meal before your day gets busy will also stop you from binging on snacks to help you get through the morning.

3. Equip Yourself for an Emergency

Emergencies happen when you least expect them; your shoes start rubbing, you had garlic for lunch and suddenly have an impromptu meeting (with someone cute and important)… the list goes on. However, keeping a small pouch with things like mints, band aids, pain killers, safety pins and other necessities will help put you back together no matter what obstacles occur. Keep them in your bag at all times.  

4. Reapply Your Makeup At Least Once a Day

Refresh yourself after lunch or when you start feeling like you need that second coffee break even though it's only been 15 minutes since your last one. Spritz your face, reapply your lipstick and give your hair a shake. You'll feel brighter and less meh!

5. Stick To A Beauty Regime!

It can be a hassle finding time for your next wax… needing your eyebrows threaded but putting off going to the salon, seeing your nails chipped and not bothering until you snag your pantyhose... need I go on?

Book yourself in for some pampering every other week. There is nothing worse than feeling a mess no matter how much makeup you apply. Set a weekly date for mani-pedi, waxing, a good facial, etc. Once it's scheduled in your diary, you'll stick to it and feel fabulous at all times.
