Expanding Horizons: Saudi Tour 2023 Diversifies Entertainment Itinerary

The General Entertainment Authority's (GEA) Kingdom Tour 2023 has expanded its reach by including more regions, resulting in a total of 17 cities and regions being part of the tour. Following the recent addition of Baha, Turki Al-Sheikh, the chairman of the GEA, announced that Najran will also be included in the tour, which will span across Saudi Arabia until the end of September.

Al-Sheikh emphasized that the Quality of Life Programme and Kingdom Tour 2023 have a planned collaboration, making it the biggest entertainment tour in the nation.

The responsibility of organizing and managing the tour has been entrusted to local companies in all regions.

As a result of the tour, Saudis from all across the Kingdom now have the chance to take part in pre-production, performance, supporting services, and the logistical and technical services that go along with the events. The authority, according to Al-Sheikh, strives to maximize the financial gains and social effect of the entertainment events that the cities and regions will take part in.

A significant focus of the tour is to involve the youth of the Kingdom, allowing them to gain valuable experience and contribute to the thriving entertainment sector, which is considered one of the promising sectors in Saudi Arabia. Al-Sheikh expressed his gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their unwavering support not only to the entertainment sector but to all sectors of the state.

Kingdom Tour 2023, initiated by the GEA, aims to offer entertainment options to both locals and guests. The tour will showcase performances by Saudi and Arab stars, as well as the participation of Saudi youth in plays and concerts.

Recent events featured a concert at the King Abdulaziz Cultural Center in Baha, where Asil Abu Bakr Salem and the young singer Rami Abdullah performed. Another concert took place in Abha at the King Khalid University Theater, featuring Asala and Majid Almohandis.

Furthermore, the Literary and Cultural Club Theater in Hail hosted a staging of the Egyptian comedy play "Hatta La Yatir Al-Dukkan."
