Leading Ladies: Meet Nouf Eidah, A Director at King Fahad Medical City

As part of Saudi Vision 2030, the kingdom has been kickstarting several initiatives in the medical field in order to enhance the quality of the local healthcare sector and enable people to access medical services in an affordable and seamless way.

Many hospitals and health centers have been revamped, and more incentives have been placed into medical training programs. In addition to thousands of Saudi students being granted scholarships and sent abroad to pursue medical careers in order to return back home with experience.

With that being said we would like to introduce one of the Saudi women that has been on our radar as of lately. Presenting Nouf Eidah, the director of Clinical Excellence in community and public health. Eidah has been working at the Central Second Health Cluster at King Fahad Medical City for two years now.

Her contribution to the center has been invaluable, as she was the one who developed the department's new mission, vision, key performance indicators, and the policy organization charts. Her accomplishments have allowed the center to flourish and stay compliant with the criteria of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions.

Eidah’s academic background is also centered in the healthcare field. She earned a master’s degree from Salford University in Leadership and Management for healthcare practice and a bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition.

Eidah started her career as as a quality specialist for the Security Forces Hospital program at King Saud Medical City. She later occupied the same role in King Khaled Hospital.

After that she joined King Fahad Medical City, where she has been since August 2020. Eidah started as Quality Manager of Model of Care, before she became the Director of Clinical Excellence.

Her current role in more on the strategic side, where Eidah work on enhancing strategic plans, policies, and procedure management of the department. One of her achievements at her current role is developing an electronic tracking system and documentation system for policy and procedure, in order to elevate the experience and quality of healthcare for customers.
