Jordan’s rich history dates back to ancient times, with historical sites such as Petra, Jerash, and the Dead Sea, to name a few. Oprah was excited to explore all of these iconic places and learn more about the country's culture. Flanked by her long-time bestie, Gayle joined her on the trip as well.

Another destination that Oprah and Gayle visited was the Dead Sea, a salt lake located on the Jordan Rift Valley. The Dead Sea is famous for being the lowest point on earth, and it is renowned for its therapeutic properties. Gayle indulged in a mud bath and enjoyed floating in the sea's salty waters, while Oprah watched from afar under an umbrella!

Throughout their journey, Oprah and Gayle immersed themselves in Jordan's rich culture, visiting local markets and sampling traditional cuisine. Oprah was impressed by the hospitality of the Jordanian people and their warmth and kindness.

The pairs also made a stop at the Jabal Al-Qalaa fortress, an ancient castle that sits atop a hill overlooking Amman, the capital of Jordan. The castle dates back to the Roman period, and it has been restored and preserved as a historical landmark. Oprah and Gayle marveled at the castle's impressive architecture and enjoyed the stunning views of the city below.
