Al-Ahli Women Triumph in Saudi Handball League Championship

In a thrilling match held at the Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musaed City Hall in Hail, Al-Ahli Women’s team emerged victorious in the second edition of the Saudi Women’s Handball League Championship. The team outplayed their opponents Al-Nahda with a score of 23-8 to lift the championship trophy.

The event was organized by the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation, with the support of the Ministry of Sports in Hail. Ahmed Al-Rouzi, director of the branch of the Ministry of Sports in Hail, and Sarah Al-Shuraihi, member of the board of directors of the federation, presented the championship cup and gold medals to the winners, while the Al-Nahda women’s team members, who finished as runners-up, were awarded the trophy and silver medals.

The final was the culmination of a series of qualifying rounds that were held across Saudi Arabia. Five teams had made it to the final round, including Al-Ahli, Al-Nahda, Al-Jabalain, Qaffar, and Arar. The competition was intense and the teams fought hard to secure their place in the finals. Al-Ahli displayed their skill and teamwork to emerge victorious, while Al-Nahda put up a brave fight.
