Cristiano Ronaldo’s High-tech Platform Footlab To Launch In Saudi Arabia

Confrontation Entertainment, a Saudi entertainment firm, and Footlab, a collaboration between Cristiano Ronaldo and Rui Costa, have struck an exclusive franchise deal.

A concept to create a fusion of e-gaming, real-life football, and technology gave birth to Footlab, a collaboration between the Portuguese football greats through Ronaldo's software business 7EGEND. It was launched in 2018 with its main office in Lisbon, Portugal. Its underlying technology was created in-house by Sports Scientists, a group of software and hardware engineers, UX designers, AI specialists, and data experts, to provide the best football data-directed decision making experience in the world.

The future generation of football players were taken into consideration while designing Footlab, which gives players and coaches the resources they need to gauge and monitor performance in real time and utilize that data to construct individualized training plans. Players may train, compete, and monitor their real-time performance statistics at the platform within the many stations in the park, which are all interconnected in a digital ecosystem.

The CEO of Footlab International, Luis Parafita, expressed his appreciation for using this deal to enter the Saudi market. “Sports is an integral component of Saudi Arabia’s transformative Vision 2030, and we are thankful for the unconditional support of our partners and the perfect timing to launch Footlab in all (of the) Kingdom, having Cristiano here and world attention for what lies ahead.”

“Footlab aspires to change the game in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he clarified, “with elite facilities and coaching staff dedicated to the analysis and development of players, empowering teams and groups of friends with challenges, to test and improve their cognitive, physical and technical skills.”

The expansion of Saudi Arabia's sports and entertainment industry, according to Ahmed Madani, CEO of Confrontation Entertainment, has made this a prime opportunity to launch cutting-edge initiatives like Footlab.

He claimed that this partnership was in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 Quality of Life Program, which "encourages the private sector to contribute to the development of the entertainment and sports sector, by offering an abundance of new experiences that contribute to raising the quality of life.
