Bloomingdale’s Collaborates With Non-Fungible Clothing To Drop An Ultra Rare Web3 Fashion Collection

Compounding The Theme Of Their Spring Summer Campaign, 'The Future Is Beautiful'

Celebrating the theme of the Spring Summer 2023 campaign, The Future is Beautiful and looking to the future of fashion, Bloomingdale’s is collaborating with Non-Fungible Clothing, a web3-native fashion brand that aims to revolutionize the future of modern luxury fashion through technology.

The two will co-drop an ultra-limited edition of 150 blockchain-enabled t-shirts that will be available at Bloomingdale’s at The Dubai Mall. For its official launch, on 26th January 2023, Bloomingdale’s will host a month long ground-breaking web3 fashion activation at the store. The pop-up will unveil the collection and will feature a truly immersive VR experience that will let visitors try the t-shirt’s virtual twin on in their custom metaverse.

Jumy, Trillionaire Thugs and Hybrid Meta, three renowned brands in the NFT space are also behind contributing to the collaboration with their web3 expertise. Technology-wise, each t-shirt is tokenized as an NFT on the polygon blockchain, to verify authenticity & enable traceability. Owners can scan with their phones a unique NFC tag embedded into the t-shirt to claim full ownership of their virtual twins (NFTs), wearable in the metaverse, and become official members of Non-Fungible Clothing’s web3 community.

The brand also integrated their garments with an augmented reality technology, triggering a custom 3D virtual animation upon scanning.
