The Diriyah Nights Festival in Riyadh Draws Diners And Audiophiles

At the center of the historic district, Diriyah Nights is drawing large crowds of retailers, foodies, and lovers of music and the arts. Up until February 22nd, the second Diriyah Season will provide a variety of events for all age brackets, including artistic shows and live entertainment from some of the biggest Arab performers.

Arab News quoted Muneera Mohammed, one of the visitors, as saying, “I just bought this abaya from a local store called The Loum, and I’m going to visit again for sure. I’m in love with the atmosphere.” The artwork and Eastern music struck a chord with another visitor, Kholoud Al-Qarni.

She said, “I’ve been everywhere in Riyadh, but this place is magical. What I like is that they have local Saudi brands, like this place called Jeed, which has beautiful, rare jewelry pieces that can compete with international brands. I promised myself to buy a New Year’s gift, and I’m glad that I found Jeed.”

For the second season, Toques Elegantes, a local Saudi retailer, is open for customers. Sales representative at the company Manal Ibrahim told Arab News, “We have gold-plated accessories and natural gems, and we have leather goods. It’s our second time in Diriyah, and it has been wonderful so far.”

Rotana Audio Co. is hosting a series of musical nights under the name of “Diriyah Nights Sessions.” The participating artists' names and scheduled performance dates will shortly be released.

Tickets can be bought at https://diriyahseason.sa/ar.

Other noteworthy events at Diriyah include the Spanish Super, which will take place from January 11–15 and feature matches between Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Real Betis, and the Italian Supercup (EA Sports Supercup), which will feature matches between AC Milan and Inter Milan on January 18.
