Our Favorite Stars Just Slayed The Golden Globes Red Carpet In Arab Designers

American model Molly Sims, actor Tyler James Williams, and multi award winning singer, songwriter and entrepreneur, Rihanna, took the Golden Globes red carpet by storm dressed in pieces by Arab designers.

Riri, founder of best-selling makeup label, Fenty Beauty, and inclusive lingerie label SavagexFenty, stepped onto the red carpet in a pair of black heels designed by part-Jordanian accessories designer, Amina Muaddi, as she posed with her beau, and father of her child, popular rapper, A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna and Muaddi have maintained a longstanding business relationship as both musicians have collaborated with the cult shoe designer on best-selling footwear collections.

It seems that Rihanna’s entire personal shoe collection consists of shoes created predominantly by Amina Muaddi as she has been spotted time and time again in Muaddi’s designs, be it attending galas, awards events, or simply popping out to dinner or taking a stroll.

US model Molly Sims, also stunned in a caped gown featuring a plunging neckline, a sweeping cape and diamante details designed by Lebanese-Italian couturier, Tony Ward. Not the first time Sims has sported Arab designers on the red carpet – she was seen attending the 2022 Academy Awards in a scarlet gown designed by none other than Elie Saab. She also attended the 2019 Venice Film Festival in a lilac Zuhair Murad gown, and wore another outfit by the couturier at the Oscars that year. Sims was also spotted in Georges Chakra at Vanity Fair’s after party in 2020 – needless to say, she seems to be a big fan of the Middle Eastern fashion gods.

It wasn’t just the female stars who represented Middle Eastern talent this year at the Golden Globes as “Everybody Hates Chris” actor, Tyler James Williams opted for a unique look by Iranian designer, Amiri. His look consisted of a blue tie-dye pinstriped double breasted blazer tucked into matching wide leg trousers and a crisp white shirt.
