UNESCO Praises Saudi Arabia's Efforts in E-Education Advances

Through its "Guide to measuring information and communication technologies (ICT) in education," the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has lauded the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its accomplishments in e-education governance.

According to Saudi Gazette, due to its support and advancement of governance practices in the field of electronic education and training, the guide stated that the National E-Learning Center is a model to be imitated on a global scale.

The National E-Learning Centre for educational institutions in public and higher education institutions created elearning standards, which the UNESCO referenced in its publication as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's model of quality control and confidence in e-learning.

The paper also examined e-learning governance processes, using the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's initiatives as a qualitative model in cooperation with a number of this field's top nations.
