Saudi's Favorite Rapper Will Perform In Jeddah

American rapper, Russ Vitale has been confirmed to perform at the world heavyweight title rematch between champion boxers Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk on 20th August in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

It's not the 29 year old multi-talented rapper and songwriter's first stint in the Kingdom as Russ first performed in Saudi Arabia in 2019.

Inspired by other American rappers as well as other genres including classic rock, Russ happens to be one of the most renowned rappers in the world as he surpassed 10 billion streams on Spotify and Apple Music without the backing of a major label. He has also performed sellout international tours, and was listed in Forbes magazine’s 30 under 30 list in 2019.

Having emerged from the Atlanta-area underground music scene in the 2010’s, he released a number of independent singles and albums, all of which he made available to download. It wasn’t until 2017 that he made it into mainstream music with his platinum-certified top 10 album “There’s Really a Wolf,” followed by being top 5 on the Billboard 200 with “Zoo” in 2018 and “Shake the Snow Globe” in 2020.

Recently, he collaborated with Ed Sheeran for the song “Are You Entertained,” on which Russ both sings and raps.

The upcoming boxing re-match between Usyk and Joshua is a highly anticipated match and is being considered one of the biggest in the history of boxing.
