An Insider Look At The Saudi Food Expo

With such a major turnout for the Saudi Food Expo 2022, organizers made the decision to extend the event by an extra day. Around 220 food and beverage companies gathered to participate in the event to showcase their offerings and bring in new business.

Expo director, Wael Al-Sebai, described the event as “a platform for many local and international exhibitors, from enterprises, suppliers and investors, to generate new chances, interact and expand.” The Saudi Food Expo began on Monday 16th May 2022, and its organizers were keen to see how the event contributed to the development of the sector – especially because of the participation of the exhibitors, who’s offerings included, food, restaurants, coffee, luxury resorts and hotels.

Wael Al-Sebai is also the general manager of business development at International Arabian Exhibitions, also saw the expo as an opportunity for networking and connecting with industry leaders in the international food and beverage industry, as well as a marketing opportunity for the participating establishments.

Marketing executive support at Tabuk Agriculture Development Co., Afnan Ehab Hameed, also added “We are thrilled to participate in the show as a top agricultural brand in the Middle East, and we are proud to serve its stakeholders and the agricultural community with our industry-leading technologies.” She also said, “We are happy to contribute successfully to Saudi Arabia’s sustainable development by investing in firms that deliver high-quality products and services on a local and regional scale. This is a delight, and what pleases us the most is that the turnout was from individuals as well as facilities.”

Hameed saw a number of visitors to the Saudi Food Expo question the authenticity of the Saudi products, and made it a point to convey that the products there are all Saudi owned, and produced and 100% natural and available to purchase online.
