One of the Arab world’s favourite celebrity couples celebrated their union in Lebanon and we can’t stop flicking back to the pictures of the fairytale wedding dress Rym Saidi wore.
Tunisian super model and actress Rym Saidi simply stunned as she celebrated her marriage to Lebanese TV personality Wassim Breidy on the first day of September. For the wedding party in Chateau Rweiss, Lebanon, the gorgeous Saidi, who started her modelling career in 2003 after winning the Elite Model Look Tunisia, wore an exquisite wedding dress by Lebanese couturier Georges Hobeika.
Saidi is a fan of Hobeika’s simple and elegant style and has supported him on Instagram, so he was a foreseeable choice when it came to choosing a designer to create a bespoke dress for one of the season’s most lavish and anticipated events. The mermaid-style gown, which was inspired by a southern part of Spain and his autumn 2017 collection, featured white silk tulle, embroidered sequins and interesting oval beads.
What’s more, the 31-year-old, who is known for winning the first edition of the Arabic reality show “Mission Fashion,” bowled the 800 or so guests over with a mythical hooded cape, reminiscent of “Red Riding Hood.” The head-turning piece featured crystals, different coloured beads and tons of laser cut flowers made from silk organza.

The adorable couple, which met on the set of the popular TV show, “Dancing With the Stars,” had already married in a civil ceremony in Milan, the Italian city that became Saidi’s base in 2008. (While living there, the beauty became popular for her notable campaign for WIND Italy as well as appearing as Mother Nature on the Italian TV show “Ciao Darwin 7.”)
For the ceremony, the bride also chose to wear a Georges Hobeika creation. Saidi was glowing as she appeared in the refined two-toned knee-length wedding dress with beautiful white floral detailing. Hair stylist Elissa Rampi topped off her look with a messy chignon and a white silk flower.
