Modest Fashion Week is being held for the third time in Dubai, with this one taking place from November 18-20 at Rixos Premium Dubai – JBR. Over 40 brands and designers have been handpicked to showcase their latest collections via runway shows and presentations during the seventh global edition that has an “Awakening” theme. And as the brands reveal their head-turning styles during the most prestigious and global platform that is dedicated to the modest fashion industry, fashionistas can get up close and personal and shop the collections in the dedicated exhibitor booths area.

The three-day event organised by Think Fashion will of course include reveals by some regional labels like the UAE’s Najtags & Ranazone, Hukka Design and Zems from Turkey and Jordanian Zeina Ali World. Meanwhile, European brands showing off their conservative and chic designs include Homolog (France), Poca & Poca (Poland) and New Wear (UK), as well as Al Haya, which operates between Paris and the UAE. Additionally, some of the labels from further afield with unique fashion shows highlighting the diversity of modest fashion are Mizwear (United States), Asmiimah (Nigeria) and Wardah (Indonesia). E-commerce platforms, including the Modestcatwalk.com and Modernest.com, will also be making an appearance, as will offline retail groups.

Eveningwear, including colourful designs, recycled satin dresses, Dior-style gowns and embellished cloaks and caplets, as well as everyday options like standout tracksuits, knitwear, trouser and skirt sets, monotone outfits and dresses will be in the spotlight. However, there’s also something for those looking for specific accessories. For example, Iraq-born, US-based designer Sura Khudairi, behind the label Surturban, will be debuting her latest collection of elegant pre-tied turbans, which have become extremely popular in the contemporary modest fashion world. Those looking to level up their winter wardrobe with some fashion-forward outerwear won’t be disappointed either. For instance, Sweet Dolce, the Persian label known for its statement embellished jackets and long coat styles, is one of the specialised brands on board. Even modest wearers planning to take a plunge will find full-coverage swimwear at the event from labels like Munamer (Italy) and Coega Sunwear (Dubai).

As well as an array of clothing, Modest Fashion Week will also feature many fashion talk shows. The event calendar will see global celebrities as keynote speakers empowering women entrepreneurs and fashion enthusiasts too.
