3 Ways To Get Fit In Dubai Before The End Of The Year
Dubai is all about keeping its residents and citizens fit, healthy and beacons of wellness all round, which is why the city hosts a number of annual sports and fitness events. If you’ve not been keeping on top of your fitness A game this year, its not too late as the winter season invites you to participate in three major wellness events that will help energize your mind, body and soul via a plethora of fun activities and sports: Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai Active and Dubai Ride.
There is no better time than winter in Dubai to be outside and cycling is one way to enjoy the outdoors whilst getting fit. Taking place on November 5th, as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai Ride is a bike riding marathon that is held in two separate routes; the first is the general route which spans 14km and passes some of the city’s most notable landmarks and is open to anyone and everyone from age 10 and above. Family friendly, the second route is a 4km stroll through the Emaar Boulevard, which includes parts of Dubai Mall and the Downtown area. This ride accommodates children younger than 10, as it’s shorter. All riders must stop cycling by 7:30am and return to their cars before traffic resumes.
Dubai Active 2021 Expo is a three-day exhibition at Dubai World Trade Center, where industry leaders and experts will gather to showcase their latest innovations. The event also presents a series of fitness programs including “Fit N Glam Dubai” on the Active Arena, “Shreddy Fitness” on the Main Stage, “Spinneys Wellness” on the Talks Stage, Turf games, Fiji Water Yoga, UN1T, Mental Wellbeing and Body Image, and other training programs for those who wish to become a Zumba instructor and a Mashup instructor. The exhibition will also feature a lineup including Sweat trainer Kelsey Wells, the Middle East’s first plus-size model Ameni Esseibi, and TikTok Star Mohammad Sweidan. You can sign up for the three day event on its website.
Dubai Fitness Challenge
Now in its 5th edition, Dubai Fitness Challenge was first launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
