BY FAR’s Latest Shoe Is A Game Changer

We all know and love BY FAR for their iconic shoe and handbag styles inspired by the 90s. From micro bags to embellished mules and wedge sandals in a plethora of luxe leathers and materials in eye-catching colors, the brand has delivered the chicest looks, season after season and is a cult favorite among Hollywood’s fash-pack, including the likes of Kendall Jenner, Beyonce and Hailey Bieber and regional influencers such as Karen Wazen.

BY FAR prides itself on taking a sustainable and eco-friendly approach to their production processes, as they use left-over leathers and create each style in limited numbers, aiming for a zero-waste future – and staying true to their ethics, the label has just introduced its first ever sneaker.

Enter: The future friendly sneaker, Rodina. The inaugural future-friendly BY FAR sneaker features a slimline last, round toe, low inset upper and an extra-umph from the 3 cm high cup sole, creating the easy silhouette of Rodina, reminiscent of classic styles of the ‘70s and ‘80s. The lineup is all-white, classic sneaker style, with a changing leather “fash” to express individuality, this time taken a step further by expanding the sizing to include men’s sizes as well.

The upper is full of subtle details. The tofu coloured jacquard label on the tongue and the bright TPU logo at the back playfully tag this future classic as part of the BY FAR lineup.

Complemented by a leather toe with a very classic diamond perforation detail, the sole is made in two-tone compostable rubber with a grip achieved through many little “bricks”, each branded with BY FAR.

Committed to continuously doing better and bringing about practices that protect and preserve the world, BY FAR’s design team approached the concept of creating sneakers using post-consumer elements where possible and uploading the highest standards of BY FAR quality and craftsmanship.

As an everyday staple, the BY FAR sneaker is the epitome of comfort, durability, and transcendent style. To capture the timeless factor of Rodina, the brand invited Stevie Dance to direct and shoot the body positive campaign, starring the American model Devyn Garcia.
