Saudi Arabia has now its very own soccer team for women with disabilities! The is called Al-Sadeeqat and it just landed itself a sponsorship deal. Princess Ghadeer Bint Abdullah Bin Saud, chair of the board of directors of the Friends of People with Disabilities Association (FPDA), and Faisal Al-Amro, partner and general manager of Pioneers Consulting both signed the agreement this week.

Pioneers Consulting has maintained strong relationship in the public, commercial, and non-profit sectors. According to Al-Amro, its latest sponsorship of the first soccer team for women with disabilities in Saudi Arabia is a beacon of its commitment to social responsibility. The FPDA's executive director, Princess Dania bint Abdullah bin Saud, reiterated one of the pillars of the Saudi Vision 2030, which is to foster an empowering environment for people with disabilities to unlock their full potential.

Arab News reported that Al-Sadeeqat will compete in local, regional and international competitions under the association’s banner.
