If you’re looking to redefine your look and incorporate more refined, sensual, yet effortless pieces into your wardrobe, then Lama Jouni might just be the label for you. This contemporary ready-to-wear line is named after its creator, Lama Jouni, a Lebanese designer who seeks inspiration around her, taking her findings and integrating them into her designs to create something unique that today’s meticulous woman will appreciate.

A closer look at her works and one can see the discerning selection of materials and conscientious tailoring, as described on the brand’s official website. Her main source of inspiration is life itself, as she looks at music, travel, and art to compose collections that she describes as “structural silhouettes for the fierce, sensual, and understated woman.”

Take for example her 2018 collection that was inspired by the ‘90s hip hop scene and designed as a tribute to Tupac and Biggie, and the entire East Coast versus West Coast conflict. The collection, which features key pieces such as bomber jackets, straight pants with patched pockets, and suit jackets with oversized, padded shoulders, marries the ’90s-era style of Los Angeles with New York.

Her impressive designs are built on an impressive background. In 2007, Jouni decided to move to Paris to pursue her dream of becoming a designer and becoming a recognized name internationally. She studied at a number of prestigious institutions: ESMOD, Istituto Marangoni, and Parsons Paris. She then trained at such fashion houses as Balmain, Reed Krakoff, Rad Hourani, and more. Her rich experiences and her love of incorporating discernible and inspiring cultural references into her designs is what truly makes Lama Jouni a label worth wearing.
