More often than not, we see the likes of Elie Saab, Georges Hobeika, and Zuhair Murad owning the Hollywood red carpet with their glamorous dresses adorning the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Rita Ora, and Rihanna, but, there are a few more that have also had some iconic moments.

Death By Dolls

Death By Dolls is the label by London-raised, Saudi Arabian designer, Sara Al Saud, who launched the brand in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since. Now based in California, the popular Middle Eastern brand has not only dressed local social media influencers, but also the crème-de-la-crème in Hollywood.

Death By Dolls had a major fashion moment when Kendall Jenner wore the brand for her cameo in Chris Brown’s “Freak Friday” music video, and was also worn by Beyonce for Halloween when she payed tribute to Flo-Jo.

Yousef Aljasmi

Kuwaiti designer Yousef Aljasmi is best known for his heavily embellished glamorous designs, and has gained much recognition for dressing the likes of Kylie Jenner.

Seen as an influential fashion icon to her fans and followers, the “self-made” billionaire broke the internet when she was pictured in a floor length, fully embellished dress, with a matching outfit for her daughter, Stormi, for the annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party. Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Kim Kardashian and Gwen Stefani are huge fans of Aljasmi’s creations and have been spotted in his noteworthy pieces.

Nathalie Trad

Its her signature and immediately recognizable handbags that have garnered much popularity with the fash-pack. Nathalie Trad is known for her distinctive structural clutch bags that use luxe materials such as mother of pearl detailing and unique shells from around the Middle Eastern region.

Trad’s designs have been spotted on the likes of Nicole Kidman and Olivia Palermo on the red carpet.

Ashi Studio

Beyonce made waves when she stepped out in a show stopping custom pink ruffled gown for her performance at the Global Citizen Festival: Mandela at 100 event in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Mohammed Ashi is the Beirut based designer behind some of the most iconic red carpet looks seen on the likes of Cardi B at the Grammy Awards, her music video for Money and on the front of Rolling Stone magazine, Heidi Klum and Tracee Ellis Ross also sported the designer on the Hollywood red carpet.

Bollywood divas Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are also fans of the Middle Eastern label.

Rami Al Ali

Rami Al Ali is known for his architectural silhouettes married with elegant embellishments and luxury fabrics. After launching his eponymous label in 2000, it was in 2006 that the Syrian designer was selected to work in collaboration with the Asian Olympic Games, which led to further recognition thanks to fashion covers and red-carpet looks.

Since then, Al Ali has dressed the A listers we know and love including, Helen Mirren, who wore one of his creations to the Oscars, Mary J Blige, Betty Gabriel, and Jessica Chastain to name a few!
