Vaxxed? You Can Use Gyms In Dubai For Free

The Dubai Sports Council announced a new initiative that allows for anyone that has had both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to train in gyms for free. The initiative is entitled, “Everyone Responsible For Everyone,” and is currently under way until May 13th in conjunction with 55 gyms around the city.

The gyms participating in the initiative include, Golds Gym, The Warehouse, Fitness 360, Fitness First, The Sevens, Just Play and the Zabeel Ladies Club. If you have been vaccinated and are a Dubai resident, all you need is to present a Covid-19 vaccination certification approved by the Ministry of Health or the Dubai Health Authority upon arrival at any of the gyms. Fitness First are offering the free initiative to non-members of the gym also, as long as proof of vaccination is presented.

All participating gyms and fitness centers will maintain the strict social distancing guidelines in place. The Everyone Responsible For Everyone offer is valid for gym and facility access only, and group classes are not included.

The UAE’s vaccination drive has been successful in getting as many residents as possible vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus in order to deter the virus from mutating and developing into another strain as seen in the UK and India.

Reuters COVID-19 tracker has reported that the UAE has administered upwards of 10,634,693 doses of the vaccines including Pfizer, Oxford AstraZeneca and Sinopharm, and has shown that over 55% of the population of the UAE is vaccinated.
