Huda Beauty’s New Chocolate, Toffee & Caramel Shades Are Irresistible

Tortoiseshell has been a fashion must have and is a timeless style fixture – and now Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty has merged her love for it along with all things sweet and delicious into 3 stunning eyeshadow palettes, “I’ve always been obsessed with the sultry look of tortoiseshell in fashion,” says the makeup mogul, “so I’ve translated the shades from the iconic pattern into a series of three delicious eyeshadow palettes you won’t be able to resist.

The long-time lover of tortoiseshell prints in her own closet, and with brown one of her favorite makeup shades to play with, Huda was thrilled to see the return of these classic, creamy and earthy shades, on the runways this season. Kattan wanted to bring this timeless print and this classic shade into the beauty world in a never-seen-before eyeshadow palette. Taking their cues from coffee-colored, mahogany sculpted-latex bodice tops and camel capes, to café con leche suede boots seen on the SS21 runways, Huda and her team have added a modern twist to the cult-classic shade of brown, with a series of deliciously dreamy and creamy eyeshadows.

The three, on-the-go eyeshadow palettes are all crafted around candy brown shades of Chocolate, Toffee and Caramel with each featuring nine, smooth velvety hues in four delectable finishes, including buttery soft, silky smooth matte shades and heavenly highlighting shimmers. Take your eyes from daytime soft and sweet to sexy after-dark vibes with the sweep of a brush, as each palette comes in a carefully curated combination of irresistible shades.

A modern take on your classic brown shadows, the Brown Obsessions palettes star highly-pigmented deliciously decadent shades and textures, from brown mocha, smooth toffee and rich cacao, and are effortlessly easy to master with smooth, velvety powders, intense metallics and marble cream shimmers in complementary tones. Each palette enables you to shade, highlight and define the eyes – but what's more is that the colors really do work for ALL skin tones.

Since Ramadan is around the corner, you won’t be short of makeup options with these palettes, and according to Huda herself, the best way to create drama for the eyes is to “build your base up with your choice of the delicious matte shadows. For a soft day look, build a light base by using the chalky, matte shades, then add one of the shimmery eyeshadow toppers across the lips using your finger, a flat brush or a sponge applicator for a delicious yet subtle chocolatey finish.”
