KSA Opens Registration for Free Covid-19 Vaccine

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Kingdom has just started registering citizens and residents for free coronavirus vaccine.

Covid-19 vaccine registration is submitted and streamlined through this link in Saudi Arabia.

According to Arab News, the ministry of health said that the vaccine passed all testing stages and possesses strong immune response against the virus. As announced last month, the treatment will be free to all citizens and residents.

The vaccination process will follow three stages with respective target groups, the report read. The first stage targets citizens and residents who are the most vulnerable to infection. Examples include but are not limited to people over 65 years, people who are obese and have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of over 40, people with low immune deficiency and people with a history of a previous stroke. The second stage consists of people that are over 50 years, health practitioners, and those who have chronic diseases such as asthma, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, chronic heart disease including coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and active cancer, and those with obesity with BMI between 30 – 40. The final stage targets all citizens and residents wanting to take the vaccine.
