BEX Beauty is stamped with a local flair…

Stars are always celebrating their birthdays in original, standout and fun ways, and Balqees Fathi recently proved she is one of them. To mark her big day, the Yemeni-Emirati singer announced the launch of her new luxury make-up brand, BEX Beauty. While the new range is made in Italy, a prime destination for cosmetics innovation, it has been created with women from the GCC and Middle East in mind.

Drama Therapy Foundation has been revealed as the first star product of the new beauty range, which is all vegan, cruelty and allergen free, dermatologically tested and manufactured with the best cosmetics technology available in Italy. The foundation is available in two smooth formulas: Lifting & Hydrating (for normal to combination skin) and Lifting & Mattifying (for oily skin). Made to be compatible with Arab women’s skin tones, the foundation, is available in 12 fantastic shades.

The singing sensation, the first Arab artist to perform at a women-only concert in Saudi Arabia, as well as the first one to perform with Andrea Bocelli, took to Instagram to introduce the beauty brand and the first product that will be available to buy. In her message, she said she has sourced all the best ingredients, which were personally chosen by her. The master of opera, who performs in four languages, also said for “two years she's had this idea of creating a special make-up brand that suits not only her, but also women from the Gulf and Middle East as a whole.”

Additionally, Menafn.com quoted Fathi as saying: “Being so connected to my Arab and GCC fans on social media, I could tell that many of them struggled with finding the right make-up products for their skin types, especially considering the harsh weather conditions we endure in the GCC, Ironically, I, myself, was not a stranger to this feeling."

The move seems to be a natural progression for Fathi, who always amazes with her make-up looks. The humanitarian and UN Champion for Women’s Rights in the Middle East has been a beauty aficionado since she used to watch her mother getting ready. With help from tutorials, tips from make-up artists and by reading up on all the latest trends, Fathi has become a truly reliable reference for her beauty loving fans.

BEX Beauty will be available in Tryano stores in Abu Dhabi and select Faces stores in the KSA and UAE.
