In a bid to increase their role within Saudi Arabia’s governmental justice sector, the Saudi Ministry of Justice has just appointed 100 female notaries.
The newly appointed group of 100 women will officially be starting their work in early November, beginning with a focused training program for 3 months. This comes after the Kingdom is taking a huge step to employ more women into a number of sectors and ministries including the Saudi Justice Ministry for the first time in history, in roles across the fields of Sharia law, law, administration, sociology, and technology.
Saudi women obtained their notarization licenses first in 2018 to work in private notary departments at the Ministry of Justice.
