Assouline just released a book dedicated to the creations of Zuhair Murad, the Lebanese designer loved by the fashion and A-list crowd all over the world. Compiled by fashion journalists Babeth Djian and Alexander Fury, the book displays stunning images of models in Murad’s designs against breathtaking historical and natural backdrops.
Assouline is the infamous publishing house best known for their luxury coffee table books, and have published fashion books for the likes of Cartier, Dior and Chanel, but this is the first time the publisher has released a book dedicated to Zuhair Murad.
The Lebanese designer’s embellished and beaded couture gowns have been seen on the likes of Hollywood royalty, including, Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, Halle Berry and Blake Lively – just to name a few! Murad took to Instagram to share the news of the book launch last week, with the caption, “We are pleased to announce the launch of our very first Zuhair Murad book published by @Assouline. The book encapsulates the realm of Zuhair Murad Couture over the past decade, displaying the meticulous craftsmanship, the fashion shows, the inspirations stemming from different cultures and eras, the iconic red-carpet moments and more.” He concluded the caption by thanking all those involved in the book’s production, “A big thank you to everyone involved in the creation of this masterpiece.”
