It seemed like only yesterday that international media speculated about Gigi Hadid being pregnant, and the world then watched her transform into a mother to be.
This week, Gigi and her long term boyfriend, ex One Direction star, Zayn, announced the arrival of their baby daughter on social media.

Malik tweeted on Wednesday 23rd September to confirm that their baby girl was born over the weekend and described that his love for his child is “beyond” his understanding.
The new mum, Gigi, also took to Instagram to explain that their new arrival has “already changed our worlds.”
The new parents each shared a black and white image of their daughter’s hands wrapped around their fingers. Both their families are overjoyed, and it was only last week that Hadid’s father, Mohammed, had written a heartwarming poem for his first grandchild, reading, “Hello little grandchild, it is me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon, I wish for you a happy time. Know that grandpa’s always here, I’ll do anything, anything for you, my dear. When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew my heart would always belong to you.” His poem, which was originally posted on Instagram, caused speculation that his grandchild had already been born – but he later deleted the post and let fans know that it hadn’t happened yet!
Gigi’s mother Yolanda, also shared a picture of herself with pregnant Gigi, with the caption, “waiting patiently for her angel to be born…”
Now that she is finally here, we can’t wait to find out what they have named her!
