Global Vaccine Alliance CEO Praises Saudi Arabia’s Response To Covid-19

During a meeting with Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, supervisor general of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Seth Berkeley CEO of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI) lauded the Kingdom’s effective response in dealing with eh pandemic, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

In hopes of providing a Covid-19 vaccine to all countries fairly, GAVI hopes to enhance its proposed strategic partnership to Saudi Arabia. Berkeley reckoned Saudi Arabia’s efforts against the disease on the local, regional, and international levels. The key meeting oversaw several issues including the means of fighting coronavirus.

During the virtual meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah went over all the preventive and protective taken to deal with the pandemic virus and lauded by the Saudi government  promptness  led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

Under the G20 presidency, the Kingdom continues  to support international efforts in generating a vaccine for coronavirus and insuring it is provided to the largest possible number of affected people, added Dr. Al-Rabeeah.

Apart from KSA’s contribution of $150 million to GAVI, KSRelief maintains various kinds of assistance for many countries affected by the pandemic such as Yemen, Somalia, Palestine and others.  Dr. Al-Rabeeah said that KSRelief plans to expand its generous aid to other countries.
