With familiar names like Charlotte Tilbury, Lime Crime, Bobbi Brown, Revlon, Dr. Barbara Sturm and Huda Beauty involved, one of BeautyUnited missions is to fundraise for the Frontline Responders Fund and create awareness about it. The Frontline Responders Fund transports medical supplies, like life-saving personal protective equipment, to where they are needed most by frontline responders. Plus, the participants, which include several celebrity-owned companies, like Victoria Beckham’s Victoria Beckham Beauty, Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop, Drew Barrymore’s Flower Beauty and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s Rose Inc., are donating personal care products to frontline healthcare workers.

Moj Mahdara is spearheading the effort, which has been described as a "grassroots coalition. "I stand in solidarity with beauty and wellness founders to mobilise the resources we have to support doctors, nurses and all the healthcare workers on the frontlines of this pandemic," the Founder and CEO of Beautycon said in a statement. "We are resolved to support in collective actions that can have a big global impact. Now is the time to be united."

A video introducing BeautyUnited includes several empowering messages from some of the beauty leaders.

"As beauty and wellness brand founders, we are coming together to support doctors and nurses, and all the healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are so grateful to these heroes, who leave their families every day to take care of us,putting their own lives at risk to save ours," the video continues.
